Deciding to implement a WMS isn’t just about changing a tool – it often means transforming the entire way the warehouse is managed. That’s why our approach is based on a proven, transparent and safe implementation process. See how we guide our clients step by step from the first meeting to a stable system and day-to-day support.
Stage 1: Understanding your needs
We start every implementation with an in-depth analysis of your company’s processes. We meet the team, look at the warehouse’s daily work and identify the key points – both those that work well and those that can be improved. On this basis we prepare a map of the functional and technical requirements for XWMS, tailored to your business model.
Stage 2: Planning the implementation – no surprises
Based on the information gathered, we prepare a detailed implementation plan in the form of a pre-implementation analysis document. Together with the client, we define the scope of changes to processes and the dependencies between XWMS and external systems, if integrations are planned. Finally, we agree the final project scope and schedule.
Stage 3: System configuration
Once the plan is approved, we configure XWMS. We create the warehouse structures and set up receiving, picking, shipping and stocktaking processes – all in line with your needs. Every function of the system is adapted to the realities of your warehouse, which is why development work also takes place at this stage in addition to configuration. Before the WMS goes live in the production environment, we test every process thoroughly. We check data completeness, system performance and the correctness of the ERP integration. This minimises the risk of errors on go-live day.
Stage 4: Go-live
We’re off! XWMS is launched in stages – we start with selected areas and then move to the full implementation in a controlled way. The entire process is supervised by our specialists, who are on site (or online) to respond immediately to any needs.
Stage 5: Ongoing support and development
Our cooperation doesn’t end with the implementation. We provide ongoing service support, monitor the system, help solve problems and advise on further process optimisation. Your warehouse grows – and we grow with you.
